It has come to our attention that the Advantage FCU phone number 585-454-5900 has recently been spoofed by those attempting to steal personal and financial information from our members.

The fraudsters are misrepresenting their identity as being associated with AFCU and are requesting personal member information, such as social security numbers, bank account numbers, online banking login credentials, PIN numbers, Zelle access and more, under the guise of helping resolve a fictitious problem.

If you get a call and are being asked for this information, please hang up and call us immediately.

REMEMBER: If an Advantage employee calls or texts you, we will never ask you for your personal information, online banking credentials or pin numbers. Please be cautious with this information and stay vigilant for identity theft and fraud!

If you are ever unsure of the identity of whom you are speaking to, err on the side of caution and hang up the phone and call us directly, our employees will never be upset with you for being cautious when it comes to keeping you and your information safe!
